TRAINING FEES AGREEMMENT


WHEN TO USE THIS DOCUMENT

 This document is an agreement between an employer and an employee. It can be used for any employee and any type of training at any level, whether the training is full-time, part-time or outside working hours.

 It is intended to be used when an employer is paying or contributing towards training fees for an employee. It deals with the situations when the fees may have to be reimbursed by the employee back to the employer 9for example, if the employee is dismissed or leaves within 1 year of completing / leaving the training.

 The agreement also deals with issues, as appropriate to be customised and agreed for each individual circumstance, such as time off work to attend training, course work and ownership of certificates awarded because of the training.

 A written document like this one explains the rights and responsibilities of both the employer and the employee and will help avoid any confusion should a problem occur.
