A Speaker’s agreement is suitable for use for someone who agrees to speak at engagement such as business conferences, after dinner venues etc. It is used between a business (the contractor), for example, an event planner or business, who wants the speaker to provide their services as a speaker over a period of time, as and when they are needed. The services are usually then used by the contractor to provide to their clients or venues so it is important that the speakers agreement reflects this.
This Template Project Sheet document is the document that is completed by the contractor (the business who uses the speaker’s services) as and when they need the speaker’s services. It is a document which outlines what needs to be done and when by etc for that particular task. The speaker can then choose whether to agree or decline.
It is intended to be used when the speaker and contractor already have agreed the basic terms about what type of services will be provided and how they will deal or “work” with each other in a Master or main agreement. For example, the Master agreement will detail each other’s main responsibilities and deal with issues such as confidentiality and how the speaker will be paid for their services.
Doing it in this way is much simpler and means that you do not have to keep repeating the main terms. Instead, you can simply agree the service, price and deadlines etc each time the speaker is used by using the project sheet. It can also be used to show that the speaker is not an employee of the user.
This document is for the project sheet only. It does not include the speaker’s Agreement (or Master agreement) which is available separate. Both documents are available as a pack.
