WHEN TO USE THIS PACK
This pack contains all that you need to supply self development training to individuals. It can be used by employers as part of an internal training within the workplace but can equally be adapted for use by external training providers.
It contains an Appraisal Policy and an Appraisal recording form to over a comprehensive self-development and appraisal sytesm to any organization.
Self development Training Pack
Training is a vital part of any organisation and this self development package offers ready made training to help employees understand what self-development is before evaluating their own career needs and objectives and starting to match those against the needs and objectives of an organisation.
The package contains an exercise which culminates in the preparation of an individual’s self-development plan detailing both the individual’s needs and desires and calculating resources and action required, with target dates.
The training package can be delivered to most employees who have achieved education equivalent to at least GCSE level.
This policy sets out the way in which an organisation deals with employee appraisals. Appraisals help both the employee and the employer to review performance and set future targets.
All of our policies combine professional legal and personnel/HR knowledge with practical experience in business to provide an easy to use policy which meets with legal responsibilities and obligations.
A written policy like this one helps employees to understand the appraisal system in the workplace and also explains the procedures to be followed. It also explains the rights and responsibilities of both the employer and the employee. If properly followed, a policy will also help ensure that the employer complies with all their legal duties and obligations whilst protecting employees.

Appraisal Recording Form
This Document helps record the appraisal system policy and can be used by both the employer and employee. Ideally, prior to the appraisal meeting, the employee will complete the form and pass it to whoever is conducting the appraisal. That person can then record what is agreed at the meeting.
The form then records personal details and contains a record of the previous year’s achievement and problems and general performance as well as agreeing future planning by establishing objectives and proposals for development. Training needs and future training can also be agreed.
It can be used in setting targets and generally monitoring performance assisting business owners and HR professionals with recording.
